UMass Medicine Cancer Walk 2014 Goal Almost Reached
This past Sunday, Absolute Robot participated in the 16th annual UMass Medicine Cancer Walk. 2014 is the 8th year Team Absolute has participated in the UMass Medicine Cancer Walk, and our goal is to raise $10,000 for cancer research. Participating in this walk allows us the opportunity to raise funds to improve cancer care and treatments.
This October, team members in the Worcester office participated for the 7th time in the Annual UMass Medicine Cancer Walk. Nearly $13,000 was raised in support of cancer research. At this year’s kick-off breakfast, the Absolute team was honored by the UMass Medicine Cancer Walk for its lifetime donation.
“Our business partners, representatives and vendors were very generous,” said Mike Ortolano.
